John Harris has a long track record in global technology leadership, beginning with an 18-year career at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) where he held progressively senior roles across infrastructure and applications services. At GSK, he rose to become Chief Architect and Vice President of Global IT Strategy, Innovation and Learning, shaping large-scale enterprise IT strategy and delivery across the organisation. His experience spans core aspects of IT transformation, strategic planning, and technology innovation within one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, giving him a deep foundation in complex technology environments and global operations.
Following his tenure at GSK, John expanded his leadership and digital transformation expertise in senior technology roles outside the pharmaceutical sector. He served as Global CTO at Aimia Inc, a global loyalty and customer engagement business, where he was responsible for building and delivering technology products and services. He then took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Mundipharma from 2017 to 2020, driving digital initiatives that transformed sales and customer engagement processes across the commercial organisation. Across these positions, he focused on leveraging cloud technologies, digital platforms and strategic IT delivery to support business growth and transformation.
